I’m a doctoral researcher at the Hybrid Quantum Systems Laboratory at Chalmers University of Technology, supervised by Prof. Nils J. Engelsen. Our group is the first strontium-atom experiment in Sweden.
My PhD project builds a hybrid platform that traps a single strontium-88 atom in an optical tweezer and couples it to a Si₃N₄ photonic-crystal defect cavity on the 689 nm intercombination line. The aim is to mediate coherent atom–phonon interactions with a suspended nanomechanical resonator and use that interface to generate macroscopic quantum states.
