PhD Student in Experimental Cavity QED and Cold Atoms, Chalmers, Sweden
Hello! I am a doctoral student at the Hybrid Quantum Systems Laboratory run by Prof. Nils J Engelsen.
I am working to trap a single Strontium 88 atom in an optical tweezer and interface it with a defect photon cavity. This will be coherently coupled to a nanomechanical resonator to generate macroscopic quantum states.
I am grateful to be funded by the ERC Grant SEQUENCE .
I am part of a relatively new group called HQL at Chalmers University. We are the first Sr atom cooling group in Sweden and in the rest of Scandinavia!
Our academic interests lie in creating a coherent quantum state on a large system with billions of atoms.
